As Built Report est un framework écrit en PowerShell pour générer la documentation, aux formats HTML, XML, ou Microsft Word, de la configuration de votre infrastructure.

Le projet As Built Report a été créé par Tim Carman et Matt Allford en 2017. Ce projet vise à produire une documentation automatisée, dans plusieurs formats de documents, et ce, pour un certain nombre de fournisseurs et de technologies.

As Built Report permet de documenter les configurations suivantes :

L'installation est très simple :

install-module AsBuiltReport

N'oubliez pas d'installer PowerCLI  pour le reporting VMware

Install-Module -Name VMware.PowerCLI

Pour éviter les erreurs de certificat :

Set-PowerCLIConfiguration -InvalidCertificateAction Ignore -Confirm:$false

Pour générer votre rapport VMware vSphere

New-AsBuiltReport -Report VMware.vSphere -Target <FQDN de votre vCENTER>  -Credential (get-credential) -Format HTML,Word -OutputPath ‘D:\reports’ -TimeStamp -EnableHealthchecks
