With the recent release of VMware vSphere™ 4.1 and VMware vCenter™ 4.1 we wanted to clarify support for these platforms with the current shipping versions of VMware View.
The currently available versions of VMware View including VMware View 3 and VMware View 4 are not supported with vSphere and vCenter version 4.1. Customers running these versions of VMware View should not upgrade their View environment to vSphere 4.1 or vCenter 4.1. There are no current plans to support VMware vSphere 4.1 and VMware vCenter 4.1 with existing versions of VMware View. Support for vSphere 4.1 and vCenter 4.1 are planned with upcoming versions of VMware View including View 4.5.
